Here's what we're doing to keep all of us safe.
Please bring a mask because during the course of the tour you may have to wear it under Charleston's mask mandate (begins July 1). We will do our best to keep you socially distant from other tour participants and the general public, but if we encounter busy sidewalks where we cannot stay at least 6 feet from others, you will have to put on a mask. There are exceptions:
Any person who is unable to safely wear a face covering due to age, an underlying
health condition, or is unable to remove the face covering without the assistance of others
While participating in an outdoor physical activity, provided the active person maintains a minimum of six (6) feet from other people at all times
Your health is our top priority, and we have put special measures in place to keep all guests safe.
Small Groups - All tour groups are limited to 10 guests.
Tickets Online or by Phone - No need to purchase tickets in person. You can easily book online or by phone. You can even use a credit or debit card to tip your guide. Just ask the guide at the end of the tour.
Stringent Cleaning - We’ve increased the frequency of disinfecting surfaces and high traffic areas between each tour, and hand sanitizer will be available to all of our guests. We are taking other precautions with our Children's Tour such as using gloves to divvy up the treasure.
Social Distancing - Guests will stay at a safe 6-foot distance during all points of the tour. Guides will wear masks when in close proximity to guests. The City of Charleston strongly encourages guests to wear masks, as well.
Wellness Checks - Employees receive daily wellness checks to ensure they are healthy and symptom-free. If you or anyone in your group is experiencing symptoms, we will work directly with you to cancel or reschedule your tour.
