"5 Stars! This was my second tour with Eric - he took us out for a ghost tour on Saturday night, and we've taken a pirate tour with him in the past. Eric is so knowledgeable of Charleston's history, and he is a masterful storyteller. I had trouble falling asleep Saturday night, I was so spooked from the ghost stories! If you're planning a trip to Charleston, know that any visit would be enriched and made more worthwhile by booking some time with Eric!" Candace Keener
"Sabrina was very knowledgeable about Charleston history including the tales of ghosts. She was very tolerant of my sister and I taking pictures while she spoke. Very personable and friendly. We went to some beautiful neighborhoods and grave yards and churches. I would highly recommend this tour." Linda
"5 Stars! The tour was really great - we saw many historically significant sites of Charleston. Eric was an excellent guide - knows his stuff and went out of his way to make sure we were enjoying the sites. Our ghost tour was also very enjoyable and the stories were memorable. Thank you so much for making our visit to Charleston so wonderful." (All Day Motorized Tour and Ghost Tour) Sharon
"5 Stars! Eric did a tour you could not get normally. Anyone could present the facts - he gave stories behind the facts." James Mungo
"5 STARS! Thanks so much!!! Connor and his friends had a blast. Keeping a group of six 9-year-old boys entertained for almost 2 hours is no easy task and Eric pulled it off perfectly. They are still talking about the Boo hag this morning. It was the perfect birthday party, and I am sure they will be talking about it for a long time." Andrea Leary
"We did a private vow renewal with Charleston Pirate Tours. Eric was excellent. Very interesting and knowledgeable. Sabrina did a great job in planning the ceremony and details on short notice. Eric, Sabrina, and Captain Bob truly exceeded our expectations. Thank you." Allen Shane
Our Private Tour clients say:
"My wife and I were in Charleston for the first time and wanted a full day tour to learn about this historical city. Eric gave us exactly what we were looking for and more. We started with a half day walking tour followed by lunch and then a shuttle to a working plantation and some additional historical sights. Eric's knowledge of Charleston the town and all of the history was impressive. What was more impressive was his ability to weave numerous stories into a rich tapestry that was Charleston." (All Day Motorized Tour) The Beesons
"Sabrina was a fun tour guide. We walked through the historic district of Charleston and her stories about the houses and other sites made them come alive. During the tour we had a question and even though she answered on the spot, later in the day (after the tour) she sent an email with more details!" Jan
"My boyfriend and I took this tour and were blown away. Our tour guide Eric and Captain Bob were super great! Eric told us so much about the history of the pirates of Charleston. Eric made us feel so special. I use a mobility scooter and he was very sweet about making sure I was safe and was able to maneuver on the brick or stone walk ways. He even showed us a few things that were not on his regular tour route. He went at a pace that was perfect for me. He answered our questions and never one made us feel stupid for asking (some tour guides do that). Captain Bob was fun too. We are so gold that we chose to tour with Charleston Pirate Tours." Rebecca West
"5 Stars! We enjoyed our time with Eric. Great tour tailored to our children's ages." Heidi Borca
"Hey, awesome pirate/ghost tour Friday night. Moms (and dads), this is a cool idea for a birthday celebration. Our daughter turned 13 Saturday, and she and her friend's LOVED Eric and his cool/creepy Lowcountry tales." Janet Walsh
